I use INTERPET #9 anti internal bacteria med,have used it a few times with 100% success,perches seem to quite prone to popeye for some reason.When used with the melafix the problem was gone inn half the time but ive only tried this the once so i dont know if that will always be the case.

I have to agree with cm on this one I dont see any good that stuff will do except for its nice smell.

Hey! Melafix is exactly what it says it is. Anyone who has used Melaluca products knows that they are natural and not harmful. I have used it for the past three years for clamped fins and when handling fish during changes and new additions. It works and doesn't have to be removed from the water like most meds. So it doesn't pose a threat chemically.

Sound like a commercial, don't I? Sorry, but I like it better than some products. But, the best medicine is prevention.!!!!!!!!! Been there, done that! )
