If they have started breeding now I imagine it wont be the last lot of eggs and they will get clever over time as to how to keep the fry safe.

I dont mean to put ideas in your head but could you not get a fry tank to put in the cabinet? Small light, heater and filter in a 12 inch cube could see a few grow to a healthy size?

it is with great regret that i have to put my gorgeous megalodoras catfish up for sale. ive had it from a young fish of about 5 inches and its now over 12 inches in length. its in great health and will eat pretty much everything offered from cockles, mussels, prawn, sprats, pellets, prima, earthworm, tilapia etc etc etc.

these cats can reach a max size of 2ft but are very slow growers. they are a friendly fish that likes to keep covered in bright light and is more active in the dark as with most catfish. although it has a very hard aggressive appearance they are a real soft natured fish that wont harm anything although if kept with small tetras etc they may dissappear......

im only selling it as my rays are growing well and i need the space in the tank as the rays are the main feature.

these arent offered for sale very often and are quite a rare find, ive only ever seen them for sale once or twice but noit at this size.

due to the spikes along the side of the fish i cant post it as it will slice the bags instantly so its collection only or i may deliver locally if fuel costs are covered. i paid £35+ for this fish as a juvi and am looking for £50 ono.
