I have been on the lookout for some lionhead babies and today I totally fell in love with these beauties at a local pet store. They are very happy, healthy and tame little bunnies and aprox 8/9 weeks old. They are unrelated does, which I will have spayed when they are old enough. Jessica is a harlequin and slightly larger than her friend Miffy who is a blue eyed white. I even bought them a nice new double decker hutch which I had to put together myself because of the bloody football!!! :grr: I never knew I could actually assemble flat packed goods armed with a screw driver? :/ Grrrrrr girl power :hey:
Here are some pics I took earlier

Just about to put my fave pic of Miffy as my new avator

They are so adorable Phishy!
Good on you for sorting the hutch out, flat packs aren't the easiest of things to put together! :good:

They are lovely, gorgeous!
Why are you gonna get them spayed/neutered if they are going to live together, its a big operation for females?
I have a buck neutered because he lives a doe.

Spaying female rabbits isn't too much of a big deal nowadays, due to vets becoming more experienced with the procedure and the increased frequency of spays.

There's a whole load of information leaflets on Rabbit Welfare Foundation.

A veritable goldmine of all things bunny :good:

The most relevant ones are on the left hand side, under 'health information'.

They are gorgeous by the way! Am most jealous of your new additions ;)

I know some bunnies can fight when they grow up, and I don't want them to fall out and have to live in seperate hutches. Spaying/nutering them generally calms them down. I will see how they get on.

Thanks for all your compliments!! :good:

Just taken my bunnies to the vets for their mxy jabs. Asked the vet to double check the sex of both of them because I have been having doubts about Jessica! My answer "Jessica has nuts!" How silly do I feel! Especially as my vet is rather hunky!!!
He has renamed him as "Jessie-James" which I thought was rather a cool name for a bunny!

An excuse to get them neutered now, lol!
I hope Jessie-James hasn't being trying out his baby making skills on Miffy. :hyper:

I've never seen rabbits like those! I am smitten! Especially the blue eyed white one. I was planning on getting house rabbits, and never could figure out what breed to get..

Now I know! :good:
Beautiful pictures, by the way!
