My other half got a dwarf gourami yesterday for his ADF tank, I was just wondering is he really a male, we have no lighting on this tank just as yet so it's hard to see if his colouring really is enough to be male, I think he is.....

yeh male, i think females tend 2 just be dull in colour greyish/brownish sort of thing lol

Definitely male.... Females of this species.... (as it is in humans) very dull and uninterresting.... You have a male.....

good i'm glad......he's got a great personality, I have my male betta caspian in a tank next to him and they do flaring contests with each other.....awesome!

Hope I've trapped you into agreeing with the human female thing as well......

Yes.. It's a Chocolate gourami, which I've only seen real live in the 70's, but I know they're abundant somewhere in the world and I crave for a couple of them.....currently my obsession fish, but I know I'll get some soon.
