We got lil' Brucey in December, hes our first Dog.

Loads of fun, Very Cute, bit of a poop machine tho :p

He's a Patterdale Terrier x Cocker Spaniel, hunting dog so doesen't get on with our 3 cats to well.

We bought him from a very dodgy traveller woman, very cheaply, she said he was 9 weeks old when we got him, didnt find out until we got him to the vets for his jabs that he was in fact no older than 4 weeks old, so feeding was difficult at first.

He is around 9 weeks now and has tripled his size, heres some pics of my new friend :)

His first pic at the house aged 4 weeks

Cute lil puppy. Young pups are just the best. Usually problematic, like kids...but worth it. He's absolutely adoreable!

Loving a bit of JK in the background  Nothing like a bit of Jeremy Kyle in the mornings, puts everyone life in perspective :fun:

when i lived at home we had a patterdale , it was only £25 at the time although that was mid 90's. Lived to the age of 15 ! Was the most loyal dog i've known, wouldn't tolerate any dog's apart from 2 it grew up with. Very clever and easily trained, full of energy though! i used to go to the top of a big hill on our estate and just through the ball down to the bottom for about an hour before it'd get bored!
If i get another dog it'd be a patterdale hands down!

You'll find despite them being terriers they're great wih kids, we had a couple of baby's grow up with him and he wasnt botherd by them, when any dog where near them it went skitso trying to get at the other dog!

Here's a picture of hours when it was still fairly young

Yours looked like a Lakeland x Patterdale, lovley lil thing, hope mine is that long lived :)

Brucey has the Spaniel face, the rest of him is very Patterdale, a lot of people stop us thinking he is a labrador pup :p

would make sense as i live at the bottom of the lake district and we got him from somwhere in coniston :)

Ahh yeh must be, i think Bruceys Mum was Lakeland x patterdale because he was sold to me as a Lakeland Cockerdale and she was very wirey fuured in comparison to Brucey (so was his brothers, he was in a litter of 9 boys)
