I was looking at one of these today and was considering buying one myself, they can get to about 8" according to Planet Catfish though.

You should be alright in a tank your size as it is a bit bigger than mine. I would be more inclined, and am going to, go for 3 or 4 more plecs of a smaller size rather than anything BN sized or Medusa sized but it is your tank and the Medusa is quite an impressive specimen with LOADS of bristles!!!
