Media Question

Hi All, I have a 200ltr tank with a Fluval 205 external filter, I would like to know if I added more Bio-Max rings to the filter would it create more good bacteria?.
I have one compartment full of Bio-Max and one with the water polishing pad, so I was toying with the idea of adding more media.

Providing you have enough room, adding more bio max will be fine, Ive got a fluval 305 and added more bio max than it came with.

Thanks for the reply, Sorry I have another question for you, Do I put the new Bio-Max in the compartment above or below the Bio-Max that I am already using.
