one of my fish is sick, and the medicine i bought says "may be harmfull to some invertebrates, such as live rock". well i took the like rock out, but i'm worried about my starfish. would he be ok if left in the tank with the meds? the meds i got are 'Rid-Ich+" by Kordon.

Nope it will kill all inverts. Once you have used this medication you will never be able to put inverts back into the tank as it contains copper which is deadly. The copper will leech into the silicon and sadn etc thus making it impossible to rehouse inverts backinto the tank without sterilising the tank completely.
