kniesh, if your US, I would love to hear that your east coast.... I have 5 cherries with my 2 DP's and one week in they are still there. I am hoping to breed enough to get theminto my other tanks.

Aren't cherries a bit expensive? they are like $5-6 which is the equivalent of like 2.50 GBP


So for diet:

I will feed snails about every 4 days if I can and see if I can get some ranshom

I will get live bloodworm and frozen bloodworm(as staple) (I'm not sure if I can get live bloodworm) and feed them every day with frozen, every three days with live

and then frozen brine shrimp once a week



How is this? Oh and feed them six days a week not 7 so food gets cleaned up?


Is it good for DPs to have live fish? or is this not good.

Sounds fine. As long as it's a varied diet they'll be happy.

Go for river/ghost shrimp. I use mine as feeder shrimp but they never survive for long in my tanks. they seem to last longer in my lowend brackish set up strangely.

I am in UK sorry. I set the tank up to get them breeding along with some crystals, grade A I am probably going to start selling, 50p for Cherries and £1.5o for Grade A Crystals, if I can get the damn things breeding, thats pretty cheap
