ok i have a 10 gallon tank with 11 cherry shrimp, 6 endlers and one white male betta... and this morning when i was feeding i notices 2 white spots on each of the bettas clear pectoral fins that i dont remember ever seening...

my water starts are:
Ammonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 0 ppm
pH 7.4
NItrate 5 ppm (never let it get over 10)
Temp 78 F

its a planted tank...
after i get done typeing this im going to get my 2 gallon tank out and Quarantine the betta... this tank does not have a heater, bubbler, or a filter... so i would do daily water changes...

because of the shrimp i can not treat the whole tank....

any suggestions....

Instead of quarantining the betta why not put the shrimp in the 2 gallon? Then you can treat the endlers aswell just in case. If your in the UK i would use protozin by waterlife. Also for ich you want to be raising the temp to 30C to speed the cycle up so it helps kill the parasite.

i have a nerite snail to almost forgot him....

and at this point i dont have a bubbler and the stuff the shrimp need for the quarantine tank to live and im in the US and its a holiday weekend so almost everything is closed here till tuesday...

so right now my best option is to just take the betta out sence the quarantine take doesnt have abubbler and by the way i forgot its a 3 gallon quarantine tank but that doesnt really matter right now...

but i hope with just water changes will be ok for 2 more days because i have no medication and like i said i cant get anything for 2 days because of the holiday weekend...

Raising the temp to 30C helps get rid of ich.

but like i said i dont have a heater to spare... so i have to wait till tuesday...

the house is a constent 23 C (75 F) right now so thats what the tank will stay at

i dosed the tank with both dechlorinizer and stress coat....
