Which is the better master test kit, the API Liquid Master Test Kit or Tetra Laborett?

I've never bought the master Tetra kit, but have had some individual tests.
I far prefer API for value for money, results and easy to read charts.

I think you might find most people feel the same (judging from previous polls).

"Rip off Britain" yet again !!!! that site lists the kit at $12.99 (£7.49)
We have to pay at least twice that here in UK

it not just you, dont worry it cost us the same here in the USA. For some reason online stores sell for that price. I p[aid 27.99 for that exact kit from PetSmart. Went home and saw it on PetSmart.com for only 12.99. I guess with shipping thout it will cost you atleast $20.00. Thats why I thought i got ripped of at first.

Oh, thanks for that ... makes me feel a lot better  Now can we have petrol at the same price please ? :hyper:

I just got my Aqurium Pharmaceuticals kit from ebay. Here's the link

Costs just over £25 including postage. No dH water hardness test in there though which is a bit of pain. Mine turned up in 2 days. Noticed it for £25.50 in my lfs so didn't save any money buying it online either but hey.

Have been looking around but they are always around the £25 mark....
does anuone know if they do refills (not actual refills but replacment single bottles) of the test chemicals as wont need to test for evreything every time and seems a waste if i have to get a complete new kit each time one bottle runs out. :grr:

Pets at Home sell replacement bottles that come with a test tube for about £4.99. The complete kits were £17.99 there the last time I looked.

It's approximately $38.58. Used this website to convert currency.

Don't know what the company charges for airmail postage. You must be able to get it in the US from somewhere thou assuming that's where you are. TIP: It's useful to have where you're from under your member name to help with recommendations, conversions etc. Go to "my controls" and "edit profile" to add in where you're from.

Good luck
