Marine Skimmer

Hi which skimmer is good for my aquarium. I was told i didn't need one because of the size and how many fish/size of fish. But i'm looking into it.

1 clown goby
LR
filter
heater
2 power heads

Have a look at nano skimmers. Should suit your requirements.

i found some, was looking at the Taam Rio Nano Skimmer. these are good?

Nope, the pumps regularly fail, releasing toxins into the tank and crashing it Replace the power-head and it will perform well, but the pumps they come with are poor

Not really sure what's available in Canada, so I'll leave it to someone else to point your towards an exact model. On $40, unless you guys get gear cheaply, you'll be looking at second hand I would have thought though...

so tell me something. if i use a skimmer, can i remove the filter i got running? i got LR & Filter.

You don't need the filter if you have live rock anyway. You could remove the sponges and just use it as a fluidized reactor.
