you really need RO water. Its all the nutrients in the tap water thats feeding the algae, leaving it will only get rid of the chlorine.

I agree, but make sure that you are buying from a trustworthy fish shop. When I used to buy RO water for my tank, after every water change I got a mini algae bloom- now I have my own unit this doesn't happen; so I presume it was down to the shop not changing their filters as often as they should.parker313 said:Depending on your preference, you can probably buy RO and even pre-mixed RO salt water straight from your lfs.
