Marine Newbie

i am looking at geting a marine tank a jewel 450 already setup with fish and all equiptment but have only ever kept tropicals i no the basics about keeping marine fish from wot iv researched. but was looking for ne tips or do's and dont's to help me as i dont want to make a mistake and end up killin fish. any advice big or small will be very much appreciated..

test water regular
dont skimp on water changes and maintainance
have plenty of heated and salted water ready on tank move day

Do not use the sand that is currently in the tank will be full of polutants.
