well i got given a 2 year old fully mature nano tank with 2 nemos and a regal tang it now been set up about a week now
ive changed the old gravel stones they had as they looked green and horrible so changed to live sand,
so also did a 50%water change due to all the gunk that came out of the gravel

so couple of questions
there seems to be a lot of green algue on the glass havin to clean it every day comes off easy but its a pain

think i may a a clam which came with the gravel is this ok??

ive noticed in the live rock some bugs are these ok? 1 is like a red snake with loads of legs lol like a centipede
and one looks like a nit also red

no fish are dead yet so must be doin summit right

also my skimmer seems to be collecting a lot of #105### , brown water

another question when i have the light on the live rock forms loads of tiny bubbles?

I think the snake like think with lots of legs may be a Bristle star. Not too sure though.

Re. green algea, are you using tap water or RO water?

using ro water defo not a star fish unless it only got one leg

haha lol.
Maybe a bristle worm:- try this link http://www.xtalworld.com/Aquarium/hitchfaq.htm its really good imo :)

Hard to say, can you take pictures?

If you changed out all of the substrate, the new stuff will take a little to become live and you might see ammonia and nitrite spikes especially in a nano.

A regal tang should be in a bigger tank as it grows.

I always tell newcomers that, on their list of equipment to buy, a digital camera should be included even if it doesn't go in the tank. :good: SH

its just loads of bubble on the top on the live rock seems to only happen when the light is on ill take pics later

i got given the regal tang as came free with the tank
i used live sand does that matter?

the tank has been set up for 2 years have not changed none of the filter media

what shall i take pics off??

The coral you have are called zoanthids.

The umbrella thing is probably a feather duster.

The tank doesn't look too bad minus the micro bubbles. Is there a built in protein skimmer or something? The bubbles are probably coming from the filter section of your tank.

What is in the 3 compartments in the back of the tank?

The regal tang is still very small, but should be moved to a larger tank or sold when it outgrows this one.

i would start looking for a new home for that tang, even though he is small. they are very active fish and need ALOT more swimming room. i wouldn't put a baby tang in anything less than a 55gallon, and will need a minimum of 120 gallons once fully grown

it has a skimmer built in the back
these are pics from when i first got the tank looks alot cleaner now lol

it has carbon bag and little balls of media in a bag and mesh/sponge filters and sponges each side of the power heads
