Well I went 5 days without any sign of ich then out of no where this morning I caught some of the fish scratching against the filter intake pipe

I looked closely and one or two very small spots on the fins of two of the fish!

I haven't fed any vitamin food in the last few days so will begin to do this again and up the copper content.

They will all get a freshwater bath tonight as well as I can only assume there must be some in the gills.

Gutted - hopefully this is just a minor blip on the road to recovery!

Good news all - marine ich cured!

I am over the moon! All remaining fish have survived and were moved back into the display tank!

It's great having fish in the living room once again - 8 weeks has been a long time!

If anyone has marine ich issues I highly recommend Cupramine treatment with garlic flakes and a vitamin supplement added to brine shrimp for food.

Well i can now look forward to building my livestock again
