Man that's a great looking German Ram........I always wanted to keep those but the water temp and compatibility issues always talked me out of them.  I'm pretty sure my camera isn't capable of taking such crisp pictures either.  Well done.

I got incredibly lucky, since the rams like to float in a single spot for awhile, and he didnt move when I brought the camera to the glass.  Used a general point and shoot camera, I dont have a DSLR :(  My Ram is temperamental at times, he started in my 125 but I had to move it into a 20g, then again into a 75g because he was picking on his roomates.  None of my tanks sit at 78-82 degrees and he seems to be doing fine.  The girlfriend moved him into her cory tank because she wanted to take some pictures of him and that water is colder then most of my tanks

My Bolivian Rams are easy to take pictures of but they just don't look as stunning because they don't have that neon blue speckling.

Phantomlink, what plants are in your tank? Are they real or fake?

The only real plants atm are in the back right and left corner, on the left is a Wisteria which is kinda doing ok I think, I plan to get some liquid co2 suppliment soon to help it, and on the right side is my watersprite which has doubled in size in the last two weeks.  I have a shipment of plants coming in a few days with itialian vails, java fern, crypts, Dwarf Sagittaria and some pennywort

Gonna look forward to rescaping the entire tank on Friday :D

This is my first foray into the Fish of the Month, but I've been so proud of this little guy that I just couldn't help myself but to nominate him.  He was born in my tank along with 6 other panda cories over the past year and a half, but his markings are my personal favorite, specifically the nearly fully black dorsal fin.  Unfortunately, my photography skills are extremely limited, but here he is:

Not a great verification shot...  I didn't realize that was a prerequisite.  But, you can see its the same section of the tank, slate is the same and the decoration on the left is the same.  In the background you'll see a relative of the nominee.  Not sure if its a brother, sister, mom or dad.

If you'd like another shot for verification, let me know.  I'll try to get another one, but he's not always at the front glass posing like he was today!

Thanks... He's still a juvenile.  I didn't choose panda cories.  I was given 3 when I first set-up the tank...  And the rest as they say is history...  I love them though, they are now my favorite cories.

I really like your cherry shrimp army as well.  I've thought about getting some of them for a while now...

Too bad we're not a bit closer. I'd be happy to hand over a herd of shrimp!

Here's my entry :)

Nice shrimp this old spouse ;) hope mine breed so I have that many :)

I'd like to enter my juvenile Bolivian Ram - he has a fantastic personality and is just starting to colour up lovely.

He is by far my favourite fish - Like many I was worried he'd be second best compared to the harder to keep German rams however I'm so pleased I went with the Bolivian
