If that is the case Cossie.... I'm afraid the cats will have to be withdrawn from the February voting poll, as the rules are that the pic only qualifies for the month that it is seconded in.... so if you do get a second for the cats, (n March 2010... the pics will then only qualify for the march poll.

I would also have liked to see the cats in this poll, but!!.... rules are rules.... At least in the March comp.... your dog is already featured, and he looks like a winner!!

I don't know about Ludwig, but I'm getting confused

Just to remind everyone: to post photographs in this section you need to have been nominated and seconded in one of the other sections of the forum. You then move your photos here ready for the voting

So I think we have a couple of photos in here, which shouldnt be here but should be in one of the other sections - are you still with me, cause not sure I am

Cossie I will second your cat for the March Comp (can you put the photos in one of the other Pet forum areas, so they can be nominated correctly) and Mmanist - if you put your photos of your lovely dog in one of the other sections in the Pet forum also I will jog on over there and happily nominate the second photo for potm (the first is too scary )

That is of course unless Ludwig comes along and sorts it all out with one swift swipe of his computer keyboard

Thank goodness, I followed this "messup" from start and will be able do do a bit of cleanup, but yes!... it is confusing as it is.... I was actually just waiting for someone to second the cats so that the cleanup process may be made easier.... (thanks Seffie).... I will remove all unnominated and Un-seconded photos to somewhere, so that it makes a little sense of what's going on here.... The rules are pinned, so if anyone have any doubts as to how it work... just refer to those.

Simsdude... the cat is a valid entry if it is nominated and seconded..... It is only when two nominations and seconders are for the same animal that the op has a choice of which to place.... when different animals of the same owners are selected, they may both be placed. just also post a link of where they were nominated and seconded.

Hi Sims...(sorry it is my fault... Im creating the confussion)

If, (for instance) you had 2 photos up showing Jackson in your topic and both those photos receives a nomination and a seconder, (by another member) then you can choose which one of the 2 photos you wish to enter for the competition.

If someone nominates the cat, and there is a seconder for the cat's photo, then you may also enter the cat for the competition.... so in effect, what I am saying, is that you may have more than one animal entered into the competition, but only one photo of each animal... Hope that clears it for you.. Do not hesitate to ask if you still do not understand. (I am Afrikaans speaking and my English may be difficult to understand)- not your fault.

Do not forget to also look at "non fish photographs" to make your nominations... sometimes some nice pet pics in there as well as in Rogue's Gallery... Nominations and seconders awaited... for the March POTM!
