just to let you know, I was NOT serious about the kung-fu thing. yeah, it wouldn't be fun if some one from TFF outbid me, but its all the same whether they'll outbid me or some one else will.

If you can wait and be home at the time when it closes, bid at the last minute. I did that different several times and it worked for me. Let it go, then at the last 5 minutes, bid away!


ps- yeah, it would be very low if someone from here outbid you. But your right, if someone outbid you than they do, doesn't matter who it is! (I wouldn't dream of out bidding you....I'd just wait until you breed her and I can get some baybees!! )

You should email the seller and ask if they have any more sibling females they'd give you a flat rate on... sometimes if you're nice they're willing to cut you a deal

I don't see you getting that one , sorry. If you look at the bidders "buy history" they have been buying $20+ bettas right and left. I'd imagine that is probably a breeder.

E-mailing the seller is probably your best bet.

It's funny as many fish as I've bought and almost bought (you knwo that proxy bid gets the best of us lol) I've never noticed this breeder once. Looks to have good feedback though .

edit: mkay, I now tried to bid $30, but he still has a proxy bid. That guy seriously needs to get a life >.< ... and, the seller should LOVE me by now, as I've bumped the price up a BUNCH! Atleast I'm making the guy pay a lot for such a pretty girl

Why don't you bid on the pair. It looks like they come from the same spawn. It only shows the male. You can ask the seller if he can send a female that looks like the $30 + one if he has another. Then if you breed them, you'll get some little DT babies. I DT Babies.

hm. you have a point there! I must sound really dumb, buying a single female ($11) for the same price as a pair. Buut, if I did spawn the female I'd be spawning her with my HM boy. I seriously don't know if 2 pissy HM boys would drive me insane... probably.
