Mandarin

I have a Green mandarin. Where are you...UK? If you leave around the Essex area, Swallow Aquatics in Rayleigh had some female Spotted's...i was gonna get one but resisted, cant be bothered goign through the process of getting it on frozen foods again!

I think that it is pretty funny when people say that they are having success with a mandarin after only a few months. Fish can linger for a long time wihout food at all, and if they are getting a little bit of food they can linger for a VERY LONG TIME. I would say that if you have a Mandarin for a year to a year and a half you can call it a success. I've had my Mandarins for almost a year, I still refuse to say that I am successful, as long as they stay fat I am happy.
 
I kept an bred green mandarins. I had them in a 100L tank. I had my tank running for 3 months no fish b4 i added them, and they were the first. My tank was absoutely full of its dietry needs. They lived for a year and died due to my brothers drunken friend thinking they drink... needless to say, he took the week off work to recover for his actions :D

wow, i would absolutely kill the basterd for that, and leave his corpse burried in the backyard, #### thats just totally devistating. did u make him clean and recycle and buy u all new fish? lol, that woulda been a terrible waste and alot of time to re set the tank huh?

If you were referring to me i never said ive had great success with them...only that its doing well so far :blink: Go back to my post and you'll wont find anything there like what your saying, about how ppl say how they state they are having great success...dont critiscise please. Im in agreement with you..im only sharing how ive got mine on frozen foods and how im keeping mine healthy..nothing else, havent said that it wont die or anything

EDIT: and she gets plenty of food, never lave my fish starving...ive got seahorse's, cant not feed them ;)
 
yea i made him pay money, and pain hehe.
I got another mandarin atm, she is so dam fat, she needs to go on a diet

Wow that sucks dude i would be pissed i like mandarins they are the sweetest fish except blue spotted jawfish but im not spending 100 dollars on one
