Yes I realised that mistake after I posted, my keyborad is wireless and I am having terrible trouble with missing letters, forgot to go back and edit it.

Only problem with getting them together may be the 15hr+ flight to meet up!!

They were around 25-35 at crowland mate, sad thing was that they were in tiny tiny tanks =[

in general they keep them in small tanks in the shops so that they can sussesfully get food to them easily

If only that were true, they are kept in small tanks as the lfs want to show off how gorgeous they are, they would hide in bigger tanks with lots of people going past them all the time! unfortuantley they rarely feed on frozen and most often come in to shops already starving - never buy a Mandy whose bones are sticking out - it's already too late - I made that mistake, I bought my Mandy from a lfs that i don't usually buy live stock from because she was so skinny, had intended buying a juvie, tank bred but non were coming my way I felt sorry for her, well at least she had a few months in my tank, but I couldn't save her, even with adding pods every day from my culture.

Trod's is a tiny little girl, very pretty indeed and also feeds on frozen and enriched brineshrimp - yours is a real beauty though

I must admit I will be looking out for a Mandy for my new five footer with 60 or so kilos of lr in

Okay, for the people that got worried and stressed. I just srt up a 20L pod culture. with some filter media in it. Every week i will dunk it in my tank, but i wouldnt say he would ever run out of pods in mine, they are honestly everywhere, and this is his 2nd week and he is fatter than he was in the fish shop which is good. To be honest, i know what you guys are saying, and i know how hard it is to keep them. But i have never had a mandarin starve on me, they have always been plump and fat, i have kept 4 in cluding this one, 2 i sold and the other got eaten by an eel. yuky meal. but he was living fine for months. I wouldnt advise them for people that wouldnt put the effort in trying to get them to feed, i turn all pumps off when i feed mine.
