Male Platy About To Die? Please Help

as you may have remembered from a previous post that my male platy jumped out of a bowl one day and was laying on the floor for a couple of minutes and when i put him back into the water he seemed fine

well just today ive noticed that he sometimes has a twitch when hes near the filter intake
and now he just goes in a corner under the air stone and sits there all day

hes not dead yet but im starting to think hes gona die soon

last water change: yesterday afternoon (more than 28hours ago)

any suggestions on what i should do?

A twitch when he is near the filter only? Could your filter be broken and giving off an electric field? Just make him comfortable. Warmer water may be appreciated. If you think he is a goner, you might want to euthanize him. Freeze water to the point that it starts to form an ice layer. Drop the fish in and it will be dead instantly. It is a more humane way to let a fish go if you feel it is suffering.

the filter isnt broken as its still pumping water
and no part of the filter is in the water except the intake pipe

checked up on him this morning and he seemed to be fine because he was swiming around the tank
