It seems to me like a large proportion of the members are women which is very strange to me as I normally on architecture/engineering or technology forums which are mainly men with one or two women who generally can't stand the leered banter.

Female here, and if we do out number the guys then I find that quite odd too. I rarely see women in any of my local fish shops, either behind the counter or buying fish... *Shrug*

People used to think I was I guy before I changed my DP lol
It was kinda funny because I got called 'mate' and stuff but now they know I'm female they just address me as Claire

Yup - Girly here.

Maybe you see more men in the shops than you notice on here coz the fellas do all the hard work and us girlies just like talking about it

I have to drag my boyfriend to the local fish shop normally with the aid of a bribe! And as for help with water changes...not a chance! He's tolerant (When we get our own place I'm allowed as many tanks as I like...), but he's not a fan (...you pay for and maintain them YOURSELF) lol!

I put inbetween because it was an option, but im male.

Mike

yay we have an inbetween  it looks as though there are more males, maybe we women talk more so it seems there are more of us?

I find it hard to judge who is male and who is female if the usernames are not obvious or they dont have a pic of them. I thought Minxfishy was a male for ages Sorry!
