Male Or Female?

I recently purchased a betta from a LFS. I am aware of the obvious differences between the male and females. My betta's sex is in question though. It was labeled as a female but has a longer more pointed anal fin than most other females I have seen, and it's caudal fin is larger than I would expect of a female. The caudal kinda looks like I would expect a young delta tail. I will try to get a pic soon but could anyone offer any insight onto this? Thnx in advance.

Is there a little white sac on it. I noticed my females had it and my males did not.

Look for a little white dot on the belly just behind the paired fins (ventrals). This is the ovipositor and only females have it. It should be rather obvious if it is there

tank212 -- Nope, no plans to spawn. She was a Walmart find and I've got no interest in breeding reds.
