I notice my male guppy constantly shimmies and wondered if thius was normal behavour?
Cant poist videos cos they are too large.

If he is shimmying vertical like trying swim up a current then it could be swim bladder infection.

Post it to youtube and put the link here.

Hi
No he shimmies constantly and currently since yesterday has been at the top of the tank hiding away near the filter. Even when staying still he still shimmies and it looks like he is shivering.
I dont know what to do to treat him.
I could isolate him in a smaller tank but what treatment could I give him.
I read somewhere about using epsom salts?

Can anyone give any advice on why this fish is shimmying. He was always very active but started this behaviour a couple of weeks ago and since 2 days now he is reclusive and staying alone at top of tank near filter.
He did eat some food today but went straight back to his corner after it.

Heres the youtube link for video:

After a couple od 10% water changes the guppy seems a lot better and more active so I may have added too much salt when treating tank for velvet along with velvet traetment over tha past 2 weeks.
