Male/female Only Batches Of Fry?

I've been looking at one of my previous drops, I only managed to save 5 from that one ( the rest got eaten I think) but they all look like females.
They're about 10/11 weeks old
I have a batch of platy fry from a female I bought who dropped the same day, so I have 20 ish, will keep an eye on them & let you know the results

cool cool, just trying to find out for when i invest in some show quality guppies don't want batch after batch of females if there is a cause wanna develop my own strain aswell as breeding current ones, if theres no cause will just have to hope for the best
