Male Bristlenose

About four months ago I bought a large male Bristlenose Plec off smithrc on here.

At the time Russell said he was a big one but I'm pretty sure he's grown further. He doesn't leave his cave too often but I have been able to get a couple of pictures. I reckon he is probably 6 and a bit inches.

I have measured the smaller male BN and he is nearly 3 and a half inches. The male looks about double this.

Having checked on Planet Catfish, he should have maxed out a bit ago!

Anybody else got a male BN of this size?

biggest i have seen is a male L182 that was about 7.5-8 inches.

Really? I have a male L182 and he appears to have maxed out at a little over 4 inches.

My male bristle is only about 4" not measure him though so give or take either way

Well Russell feeds his plecs well as i got a pair of L182 and they massive

i think he feeds them sunday lunches

Good grief - I called him "Big Boy" before you had him...

He does indeed look to have grown a bit more too
