Yes it is, we haven't left yet. We've declared the intent but are still negotiating the terms. After we officially leave there will still be a transition period where EU laws will apply.
And once we have left it is up to the UK government to decide whether or not to keep EU laws. The import of Pomacea snails will have such a low priority that it will probably never be repealed.

I couldn't find apple snails formy nano. Ended up with 2 Nerites but thankfully both seem to be males.
