MALE AND FEMALE BETTA'S FOUGHT

as long as he ends up healthy, i couldn't care less how his fins look! lol.

he's acknowledging me now! his eating goes on and off, but i'm glad that he at least swam up to me when i came over to him. everything looks good!!!

I'm glad he's healing. About 3 wks ago my girl betta got free and really beat up my male betta. He looked pretty bad when I got there, all ripped fins, the worst popeye I've ever seen on one side, just sitting there. I put him in betta max for a 2 wk cycle and he looked much better. His fins are still a little shredded so I'm using bettamax for another week just to promote the healing, although he is out of danger now. I was sure he wasn't going to make it through the night, but bettas are strong little guys and with their long fins a lot of the time the damage looks a lot worse than it actually is. Now, other than the damage to his ego, my betta is completely healed, and even trying to flirt with the female again!

ya, that sounds almost exactly like what happened here. lol. except for the popeye, and the fact that he doesn't flirt. but he's completly back to himself now. flaring at the other guys, coming up to me when he see's me, and eating like a pig! i'm soo happy now that he's back to normal.

my girl doesn't like the fact that i put a lid on her. i heard her hit the top the other day. she is just soo dang frisky!
