I have had to look on another website, as i cant find any information about these on here Anyway, my question is this, ................. the Rekord 96L i have just set up last night, has about 10 Malaysian Trumpet Snails, are these good to have?? Or should i take them out??
Will my Clown Loaches eat them? As i have read up, as there shells are hard, and long, can be difficult for fish to eat them..... My Clown Loach are currently in a different tank to these snails.....
Any advice will be great..... Im not a big snail fan, but they look ok, and there in my 96L Guppy tank....

Ok, sorry guys, i found the place for the Malaysian Trumpet Snails....
Heres what it said....
Size: 15 - 30 millimetres ; 0.6 - 1.2 inches
Shell is conical, 5 -> spires, they have operculum, heart shaped mouth and thin tentacles. Malaysian trumpet snails, MTS, are really useful snails. They eat algae and leftover fish food (also dead fish and fish eggs),dead plant material and they will usually leave live plants alone. They burrow in the sand during daytime unless there are too many snails or the substrate is too compacted and going bad. They will help with keeping the sand loose. When the lights are off the snails head towards the surface and start eating algae.
They give birth to live babies and are usually all females and they reproduce through parthenogenesis (females don't need to be fertilised).
..........................................................................................................................................................
They sound kind of useful, so i dont know what to do ? Whether to keep them or not, this tank is for guppies only, and these snails if i decided to let them stay, is this a good mix ?
