Ok two questions in one thread.

One. The malaysian trumpet snail, I know its a nocternal snail that likes to borrow, but will they do ok in gravel?

Two. My LFS has some orange snails with black strips on them they are a good size, about 1-1.5 cm and has the shape of I guess a pond snail.
I really like these, and I think they would bring some nice color to my tank, but they didnt know what they were called, so I dont know what they would do to my tank.

And I guess a general question, With snails I know they can get out of hand quick, esspecially with common pond snails, and the other pest snail, but would these two snails become a problem quick?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

They could also be what www.snailshop.co.uk sells as ruby nerites. Most nerites will only breed in brackish water so that would be why they're not breeding.

Emma

I got 2 tigers and 2 rubys from here and one was DOA 2 more died within the week. :/
