Malamute had her puppy ~ more pics 16/08 ~

I sure wish I could have one of those dogs...but it'd die here it's so hot :(. My dobes are having a tough time cas it's so hot..I couldn't imagine one with all that thick fur.

They sure are pretty though.

She probably flipped because her smell was gone when you changed it out. You coudl try putting the new blanket either on top, or underneath, the old one..to see if she'd be ok with that?

Then after she has laid on the new one for a while...you could try pulling the old one.

That puppy is just adorable.

OMG are they ever amazing looking doggies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why am I always so late at seeing these, I wanna nom something :grr:

You need to send them up here, our Autumn has already started, it is only 6degrees today  . Kinda chilly.

Beautiful pics too!
Are you gonna breed her again?

They both are doing great looks to me like. I will gladly take the puppy if you want to get rid of it... Or the mommy..They are real cuties    :kewlpics: :kewlpics:

We were originally hoping for about 6 puppies so they could be sold on, it cost us £800 to have her studded (she is a pedigree, so needed a pedigree stud!) so we were going to keep one and sell the others (they sell for £800 here, about $1400 i think)

But now shes had one, which we adore, and would never dream of selling on! So i dont know what we would have done with 6!!

C section also knackered teyah, so if we do breed again it wont be for another year to make sure shes fit and healthy and ready to do it again.

Mummas malamute name is Kenmill to white light, so we need to decide of a name for the pup so suggestions welcome!!

SRC we tried putting the blanket in the new box, under the new box etc but she wouldnt stand for it.

ATM shes on the old blanket and we are slowly introducing the fabric from the new box onto where she lays so hopefully she will get used to it

Teyah (mumma) is also much better, last week the only times she would get up were to go for a wee, even then she would run out then run back in, but now she is happier to go for a walk round the house and leave the pup for a bit. Every morning she comes out of the room to see everyone

Puppy isnt shouting/crying as much either and is getting very fat

Will post pics every week for the first 6 weeks, then every now and again (prolly fortnightly) because first 6 weeks he will grow like wildfire! he's already much bigger than he was a few days ago!

Checked on them this morning, puppy had buried himself under blanket and i paniced thinking he had vanished, but after some hunting i found him  was abit worried about him suffocating so tried to move him and he screamed at me so i left them alone :D

Teyahs c scar is healing well also :kana: :flex:

Nice pics, ive had samoyeds and huskies but i have a mal now, excellant dogs :D

my friends cocker was the same as your ***** only had one dog, and he turned out to be a a real big boy as he didnt have to compete for food

you can only register one litter per ***** a year with KC anyway. so that will give her plenty of time to recover.

as for a name what about mishka it means bear in russian

took another one yesterday -

9 days old now, really need to think of a name because atm he's getting called 'the puppy' or 'fatty'
