With a lot of new users (including myself) using Google Chrome as a browser these days, it would be nice to see TFF take advantage of this and make the site fully compatible.

I say this because every once in a while (normally within clicking 3 links) I end up with a completely white page with only text on it, as if all HTML coding as been ripped away.

Any ideas or thoughts about this?

I'm no IT boffin, so can't help with why that is happening, but I can say that I use Chrome with XP and Vista to access the forum, and have no problems with either.

Strange..........

BTT

It could be to do with my Windows 7 in that case then.
I shall try running in compat mode for vista to see if that makes a difference.

Use chrome all the time and never had any issues (chrome V4.0.249.89 and Win XP SP3).

You've got it turned around; your browser is what is not fully compatible.

Chrome is my default browser with Firefox being my backup, I have no problems using Chrome with this forum It actually works very well compared to other forums.

This is definitely odd then.
Using chrome on my Windows 7 pc at home, I get a problem every now and then, but since I put it on Compat mode, I don't get many.
Using chrome on my windows xp pc, I still get problems.
Using chrome on my xp laptop, I still get problems.

3 different systems which leads me to believe there must be something in my user settings here.
Any ideas?

couldn't agree more, Tolak.

but i use chrome, opera and firefox, here (IE XX is in the bin for good :hyper: ) none, seem to give me problems. going by track record. it could be something MS have added to win7, to advance their dowdy browser, now they can no longer FORCE people to use it (in the EU only).

perhaps the skin you are using?

I've just switched to Chrome from Firefox and I find it much better and faster to boot.
I have no compatibility issues thus far.
