I want to get some albino cories. Often when I go to places, they have a tank of albinos but the tank is just labeled "albino catfish". I don't want the Brochis splendens and even looking at pictures doesn't spell out the differences to look for between the albino Brochis and the Corydoras aeneus. Can anybody here help me? Thanks

Welcid

Odds are they'll be Aeneus. Every bunch I've seen have been and by all accounts, they are by far the most common.

i agree. most likely they're aeneus. i've never seen an albino brochis splendens

Hi welcid :)

Fish sold as albino catfish. are almost always Corydoras aeneus. These are the most common albino, by far. They are fine little fish, and I know you will enjoy having them.

I have seen Albino palateus cories springing up but they are the same size as the Aneus.
