Making Me Nuts

Ok I have tried to feed her every fish food I own ok! But she wont eat anything. Heck I even tried feeding her 2 different types out flake food. I probably have the wrong stuff but I will buy some type of other food this weekend.

How long have you had her? They sometimes take 2 weeks to settle.

I agree with Liz. It took one of my boys a few days before he ate anything.

this happened to me when i got my betta. i called the pet store and asked them how often they fed their bettas. they only fed their bettas once a week, so this was the schedule he was used to.

Mine are usually like this too. One took almost 2 weeks before he started eating, another took less than 2 days and she acted as if she had never eaten anything in her life! Fishies are weird!

get some betta pellets, attisons betta pro is good, they rarely turn their nose up at that! Also try live foods, if she still wont eat after a while

I've got a little deformed CT that I "rescued" from our LFS. I was super worried about him because on top of his spine mishape, he wasn't eating. I had finally resigned myself to the fact that he was quite happy to starve to death, and didn't attempt to feed him for 3 days. On the 4th I dropped in 2 pellets, and sat on the couch. Within minutes I could hear "chonk chonk". He was eating!

It took him literally almost a month to settle in to his new environment and eat. He now happily eats 4 pellets once a day. No more, no less.
