Hey,
Can someone tell me how you make dividers for your fishtanks. I know there are probably several ways. Some say plastic canvas, but what if your male bettas flare at each other all the time? What else can you use to divide tanks with that would be available in local stores? Thanks

thx soo much lateral line!
How would you put the plastic canvas on the walls to make it stable if you're just using that??

For me I did it very simply. I took the canvas, and two binders (that hold paper together, you know, the non ringed type) I slide the canvas through the binders. than i super glued it to the tank. It's been like that for a while now, and it's perfect!

Okie, I see what you mean, but I don't get which type of binder you are talking about, sorry lol.

I would buy some plastic "E" or "U" profile. The "E" profile is shown in the link below to show you vaguely what I mean. Silicone strips to the base, front and back panes of your tank. Then you can obtain some coloured acrylic sheets cut them to size to slot into the profiles and drill some uniform holes in the sheeting to allow transference of heat. The beauty of this method is that you can lift out the sheets to open up the tank again or have as many compartments as you wish. Your Betta's cannot see each other. I use this when breeding killis of the same species side by side as the males are distracted by each other and forget about breeding.

Scroll dow to see the "E" profile.
