Making a hood for a corner tank?

My Trigon 350 bow front has 2 X 39w + 2 X 15w tubes as standard...having replaced the 39's with T5s i now want to squezze some more light in......which means the hood will go.......all i need is to make a VERY shallow (prob only 1 inch) deep hood to increase the space in the current hood.......if it was square i would do it myself. Who/were do i go for such a thing?

if you are in the UK you can go to places like arnold laver or b&q and you can buy mdf with "ribs" in one side so you can bend it.

Just make sure that the MDF is treated before you use it. Doesn't mix well with water.
