Maintaining bubble wall

I have made a bubble wall out of a simple piece of plastic tubing, which works fine for a week or two, but then it will slowly let out less and less bubbles. The pump is strong enough, so i don't know why it keeps clogging up. The only way to get it going again is to re-hole it with a needle (this takes ages). Any better ideas?

Make the holes larger?
Is it getting clogged with stuff?
Try cleaning with really hot water.

yeah, the holes are getting clogged. Think i'll try boiling it next time.
