mail-order plants?

i was wondering if anyone knew where i could mail order plants?

i ask this because my fish stores just stock the same old range, none of which are hardy enough for my fish tanks inhabitants.

i dont even bother to write down the names or discuss them in here because i know i can never source them!

its because java-plants have like a weekly cycle on how there plants are deleivered... (for example... monday gather all orders, tuesday pick plants ready for packaging, wednesday label and package plants, and distribute) and thats why it can seem forever to get your plants from them

In Canada try Ottawa Aquatics.

FYI, I have had very poor service from Ottawa Aquatics. Actually, that's a lie. Poor service I could have handled as poor service still requires some effort from the seller. To be more honest, I have had no service from Ottawa Aquatics. From what I've read about them on other forums, they do not respond to online orders or emails very well. I am yet to read of a successful ONLINE transaction with Ottawa Aquatics. Too bad considering they have an awesome selection, pricing, and page layout. I placed an order with them a few months ago (charge on delivery, fortunately) and never received any emails from them other than the automatic email saying your order has gone through. Over the next 2 months I attempted to email them several times (allowing adequate time for response in between) and never received ANY response from them at all. I've read of others having the exact same problem on other forums. Apparently if you phone you may have better results. Because of their lack of customer service for their online customers, I will not call them long distance to give them my business, nor will I recommend them to anyone. As I said earlier, it really is a shame because they have a great selection, and very nice online layout, and they're really about the only game in Canada for "online" aquatic plants.
