hi as in the title, i plan to set up a tank with M.praecox and keyholes, but i want a good CUC which may include shrimp. Now i know M.praecox are small rainbows (6cm) but will they eat cherries or the larger amano's?

and the same question also applies to the keyholes.

Thanks for any help. :good:

(been a while since i posted here!)

Hey Nick, where you been? Ok Hon?

Praecox will not bother the adult cherries, might try for the babies, but so long as you have enough cover, wont be a problem, Keyholes pretty similar, might have more chance with the adults though, but unlikely they would bother them.

that sounds awesome, i might get some cherries and let them breed a bit before adding fish. there is plenty of cover as i have a clump of bogwood and it will be heavily planted up.

A pic of the hardscape, has changed a bit but there are planty of branches and stuff for cover, it will have lots of crypts so the shrimp can be able to hide.
