Loyal Fishies

Hi. Just had to post tis though it may be boring lol.

Ive never really thought about how much fish recognise there owners and love them. Well that was until the other day when a friend came round. All the fish were chilled out doing there normal stuff and my friend went close up to look at the fish, she wanted a photo on her phone for screensaver. The second she got anywhere near the tank they took one look and all scarpered lol. Every single one went into a cave or behind a plant to hide. As soon as she moved they came out very weary, she tried creeping up but they spotted her and off they went again lol. I gave her a few flakes of food and siad opent he top and sprinkle them in. Normaly the second the tank top opens there all at the top feeding hole waiting for the food. But nope they stayed put. So I tried and they all came out and ate!

Its very sweet they recognise me and are loyal fish but what if I were away and they wouldnt feed off no one else!!

Does anyone elses fish re act like this??

My cichlids always did that also. They only liked me and they hated my dog even tho she was as much a fixture around them as I.

They also were very keen with the color of clothing I was wearing too.

Huh, my fish are all very disloyal, they'll come to anyone, even the cat when she's peering in through the glass!
I shall be giving them a good talking to later on!!!
