Lowest light plants?

Anubias. If it's a small tank use Anubias nana or the one that's even smaller- petite(?). They grow slow so you might want to buy a group of them. I've seen them for a low price in tubes at Petsmart or Petco..one of those. I mean $20-25 of them looks to be a good start for 10-20 gallon aquariums.

You have provided him with a perfect environment for him to live in. :)

he unexpectedly died recently (ab a month ago)
he had really bad shell rot but he was happy on the inside...

We call them Apple snails on the other side of the world. I love it when they lay eggs and then you get the little guys. They would be the only snail that is worth any real money.

they are so cute and playful, but hard to keep, they keep unexpectedly dying and their shells keep rotting...
my goal is to keep this one guy alive, until i find what the problem is here, i drop egg shell powder here and there too...
ill stick with nerites, my tank is a perfect nerite sanctuary, i do not need to feed them, there's just one that gets too curious and goes on the lid of the tank, dries up, and i have to pull her down...

I used to have 3 nerites, the first 1 dies because i accidently crushed him with my cleaning stick 😭The other one died because it went out of the tank, my tank is covoured but there are breathing holes so it escaped and it died. My biggest one is now the last survivour. I know he will live a full life because hes to big to accidently not see, hes to big to go through the breathing holes.

ok, when my tank is cycled ill buy 2 more. I actally got them by accident. Lol. When i bought my plants the guy had snails in the tank so i got 3, but i like them so ill keep them.
SAME my first nerite was a lil hitchhiker
she was the best...
but one time my dad removed the pest snails and acidentally removed her :(
i feel sooooo soooo sorry for her

she was a Teeny tiny lil horned olive nerite

a week ago i got the 2 biggest nerites at petsmart one of them had a chipped shell but he is happy now i hope(he was so big you could see that teeny skin fold that males have without having any info on nerite sexing, all i know was that skin fold of some sort: way too much diatoms to eat basically. last time when i got my tiger nerite ( i think it wasnt labeled) a HUGE chunk of that guys shell was missing. shes happy now, not sure if she still has that

awwww, poor snail. I fi ever got overrun i would just put them into this brachish water river thats a 5 min walk from were i live. The river is the nerite snails natrual envirorment so they can survive there. Sorry for you loss

WOW that is awesome
have you ever saw any nerites there?
i dont really reccomend that since it might be invasive or spread disease even if it's already native to that area :)

Even if that’s where some naturally live, it is still not a good idea to release any into the wild ever. They could carry diseases or stuff that the wild population of snails is not able to fight off. Or the pet snails could get a disease from
The wild ones that they as pets who lives in a glass box their whole lives couldn’t fight off, along with many other issues. Releasing pets into the wild is very very very looked down upon.
