P Paul_MTS MAD Joined Apr 15, 2004 Messages 5,818 Reaction score 1 Location Essex, Kirby Feb 22, 2005 #6 that will lower it but your going to need to add the minerals back in with chemicals. depending on tank size and hardness i suggest adding peat is the best way, when using deionised/demineralised water you change the whole chemistry of the water.
