Hey everyone. I've always wanted a low tech tank with a high tech look. Please let me know if I'll have issues with algae if I go with this setup.
14 x 14 x 14 cube (10 gallon capacity)
plant substrate (uns controsoil)
ONF nano light (the bottom of my tank will most likely be 75-100 par)
Lightly stocked (a male betta)
50% water change every two weeks
dosing all in one fert 2-3 times a week
Plants:
-Riccia Fluitans (will be my floating plant) around 2-3 tissue culture cups
-monte Carlo (1/2 inch spacing)
-Super Red Ludwigia (natans variety)
-anubias nana petite (around 5 pots)
-crypt walkeri (around 5 pots) will cut all the leaves off since they will most likely all melt
-other plants possibly
So my real issue is will I get algae if I go with the ONF light? It's really strong and I know there is a setting to reduce the intensity, but I want it brightly lit to enjoy my tank.
Thoughts?
