Lovely Leo ..... Again ......

No problem Bloo Im interested in all your views, I have sent an email to Glitterglams and am waiting to hear back.

but looking at the 2 burmese Im feeling a Burmese love coming.

What colour is that brown one called is it a brown or a chocolate?

I do think Burmese are gorgeous too. I have one who lives just down my road and is super friendly greeting people. I'm rather surprised that no one's snapped him up yet. That's why I'm always so weary of letting my own cat out - he's just too super friendly and I'm just afraid someone will catnap him. So I never let him outside unless I'm home too. But luckily he then doesn't wander far and always comes back when called.

Yes sorry for the hijack Imbridgen, i think he is a brown (he is 8 cant remember ), he is the grey cat (lilly´s) kitten and they just never leave each other alone - and take up alot of space cuddling up on the bed (under covers in middle much to bf´s dismay !) !!

Burmese are really good cats with bengals, Tom is a bit of a bruiser but he gets on with Bailey the male burmese so so well, he is not so keen on lilly (silver burmese) as she is bit of a sod for jumping out on him from chairs, behind sofa anywhere she fits really ha ha..

I´m sure this is not the case with all but our siamese were a bit freaked out by tom (bengal) saying that all they wanted to do was look beautiful on your lap ha ha only joking !

bloo, not sure why they cuddle up like that face to face but i know its expensive in radiator bed form as neither of them are on the slim side mine break them quite frequently ha ha ha.. lilly is friendly enough to be stolen but rarely leaves the warm house except for bathroom duties ha ha she is lazy to say the least.. Bailey does go out but is alot more aloof and wont be approached by strangers.. plus we only have 1 neighbour for a couple of miles and the road is quiet!

Imbridgen and bloo im jealous seems like so long since we had a kitten, there is also bengal and siamese rescue Imbridgen if you fancy a rescue though passing up the chance to have a kitten is incredibly hard - plus most of the bengals are looking for 1 cat homes (shocker!!)

Yeah - I thought about this too. There are some gorgeous older Bengals up for rescue (or retired queens & studs) - but they can only go to homes where they will be an only cat. I think it's so much more difficult to integrate (peacefully and happily) two adult cats - especially Bengals due to their very strong characters & territory etc.

I'll be tempting you with kitten pics soon!!

Im going back down the Bengal line again I think, just cant decided :S
Sensibly I think it should be a bengal as Leo does love pouncing out on my dog ( which my dog loves ) and I dont want him frightening a kitten. so im thinking a Bengal kitten will be of the same character and probably enjoy it too !!!

Bloo I cant wait to see your pictures

Dulce Im so jealous of you having them both in your bed, I went to bed last night and Leo was lying with his head on my pillow and his body under the duvet, It was so cute.

lol just too tempting (and confusing!) isn't it?! But your reasoning makes perfect sense and I think it's a good idea if you already have an older Bengal - especially boy.

I am a tad concerned about how well my current Oriental boy (who's a complete and utter woos & the most gentlest, soppy cat ever) - and I clearly remember the days when my previous Bengal boy used to pin my Oriental down by just sitting on his head! It was the funniest thing ever. No aggression involved though. But I'm hoping as I'm getting a kitten and female, she'll be shown the nice gentle and polite ways (mmm - as if coming from a Bengal, but I can hope!)

Lol thats funny!!!!

Ive got great news, Ive found one !!! Im going to visit in a couple of weeks as she is only 4 weeks old at the moment. but Im paying my refundable deposit today and they are going to mark her as mine. Im sooo excited and happy her mum has amber eyes so Im hoping she will inherit that gene too.

go on take a peek she is at Salvaje Bengals under available picture four.

Let me know what you think?

Her mom has stunning eyes, so sure hope she does too!

Leo is a gorgeous cat. I can understand the appeal of Bengals and other oriental breeds being an owner of a Turkish angora myself. They are beautiful cats. We had a similar thread a while back and it just turned into the "I love orientals" thread, everybody was hijacking and posting pictures of their orientals. Same thing again. I think last time it was either an Abyssinian that was the start of the thread or a Burmese, but I really don't remember.

llj
