Hi all and especially to Bloo,

A couple more pictures of Leo my Bengal

The first one is funny: Leo wont come into the house by any other means than through the top window, even as you can see when a bottom one is open in front of him.

And the second is of Leo trying to look appealing as its dinner-time.

I shall get some more, I must get some of him being a Bengal : ie playing with water and bubbles or hunting down the dog.

Thing is with Leo you learn what you can and cant leave lying around and so avoid good pictures, like the time he stuck his paw in my cup of coffee cos he must have thought he could see something in it. or playing football with all the neighbours kids out front, they got so fed up with him 'joining in' that they have a lookout for him now and only play football when he is not around.

Ah he's gorgeous  (and thanks - I'm very patient but also persistent as you can see ! ) so more photos always appreciated.

Mine used to always stick his paw into any cup or glass with liquid and then tip it over. Highly annoying but amusing.

I can't wait to get another one - and should have my new little girl in about a month :fun:

Glad you like him. Im highly jealous of you getting a little girl  When I got Leo they had just had a litter of snow bengals born and I was very tempted to get one, however at the time when they would have been ready Leo was very hard work attacking all the neighbours cats and I was put off getting another one. However since he has been spayed he has calmed down a lot and I now wish I had got her.

You must post pictures of new Kitten when you get her

Thanks will do! I've put off getting another one for several years now - but timing is right now. I also had to think long and hard if I wanted (or could cope with) again, a cat with such immense character and so tremendously demanding.
I was highly confused what to get - the beautiful "traditional" brown or blue eyed snow - and then didn't know if I wanted spots or marble. Choices choices!
And then I discovered the Silvers have started to develop over in the UK! It's already a recognised and acknowledged breed/show colour over in the USA, but because the UK is a few years behind, it has some catching up to do. So silvers are at the moment only registered with TICA in the UK.
She's a real cutie pie and can't wait to bring her home. Will post pics a few weeks.

And you best not start looking at cute blue-eyed snow girlies then  because the moment you do, you'd want one! lol

But Leo is very handsome and I'm sure you have your hands full with him.

Oh Bloo Ive gone and looked :fun: I wish I hadnt, because your right I absolutely want one, and I want one now. !!!

What am I going to do? I can see me up all night searching the internet for any available, was she hard to find? have you had to travel a long distance to get her? I had a quick look at some bengal sites that I know that sell bengals but none of them had a silver for sale, plenty of sold silvers though.

How many cats do you have? you seem to have a few.

Wish me luck with my search :good:

Oh dear don't fall into the looking trap  - believe me - I was up for weeks and weeks and weeks doing my research - reading just about every conceivable current Bengal website of breeders here in the UK and analysing the TICA results to see which the best current silver breeders are - as it's such a relatively young colour. But if you do want to look, just google, google, goole and look at the TICA results to see which the top breeders for Silvers are (though it takes a while to figure out how the result tables work). There aren't an awful lot of breeders (compared to the browns and white) to chose from - hence the silvers are really quite a bit more expensive. But I'll hopefully be doing some showing with her - and if things work out in time - breed. So we'll see how things pan out.
If you're really really interested in an excellent and reputable breeder, let me know and I'll send you a pm. She's probably not more than 2 hours drive from you ;)

ah but the most gorgeous is a blue eyed snow boy, no contest = meet my Billy, son of Champion Glitterglam White Wizard

ahhhh what a cutie pie  I almost got a Glitterglam White Wizard boy a few years ago too ;) but now getting a Silverglam Silver Shadow girl :fun:
I'll always have a soft spot for blue eyed snows.

Jill certainly has some stunning cats.

Ps: Seffie, can you please also start a thread with some Billy pics!

Seffie I think Billy just pegged out the cute meter, makes me want another kitten, thank God my aparment manager will only allow two cats.

Imbridgen Leo is quite handsome as well, I've always like bengals.

OMG I sooooo want one, been looking all day and noone has one. want a girl as Im a bit worried about agression from Leo with another boy, Im even tempted to get a Burmese, anyone ever had one they seem very nice ...... but then again what about a Lilac point Siamese ?
I cant decide, all I know is suddenly Leo is not enough for me!

haha we think along very similar lines! At the same time I was looking for a blue point Siamese. And at the point my eyes started to squint from looking at all the websites, I just though "enough". Make a decision and stick with it. And because I have a boy already (my Oriental) I'm going to have to go for a girl - though typically I prefer boys. Not that I'll love her any less - but it's the combo with the most chance to work well.

Jill @ Glitterglam definitely has some blue eyed white girls not on the website. You should go and pay her a visit ;)

Oh my god they are all sooo cute ! Bloo you must be sooo excited !

Our snow Tom is ok with our burmese boy Bailey though he was born at home so he knew him from young...

such cool cats though, orientals all have so much character ! Bloo i think you made the right decision our siamese are a bit more lap cat and personally the Bengals just have a bit more of a boisterous nature as they get older saying that my mums seal point was always playful but much more on her terms than Tom (bengal)..

just sent my mum the link for the silvers ha ha ... think another cat would knock the balance with 3 already plus my parents have a 1 yr old dog and we are getting a pup could be a bit crazy all on the same property !!

Imbridgen Leo is a gorgeous boy... the snows are tempting, we got ours taking our burmese to stud, he was an only kitten and my dad (who never usually encourages more animals) fell in love with him and bought him home !!

Seffie where in Essex are you ?? i live in maidstone and may have to come steal Billy !!

Here is our Tom:

Yeah, you're right Dulce. I have my hands full with my uber clingy Oriental as it as - lovely as it is that he smothers me with love and affection. We've had Siamese in the past and I have to say, they really are very different from Bengals indeed. Fingers crossed I've made the right decision!

Tom is a very handsome boy and your pics of your Burmese are very cute too

Funny how some cats really cuddle up like that face to face. Here's were my boys doing the same (sorry for the slight thread hijack Imbridgen!
