Fish Fanatic
Tank well established for about 5 months now.
Well planted, I used plant fertilizer tablets (about 5-6 weeks ago), green algae appeared, I filtered the green algae. Last 7 days: light 3-4 hours a day, feeding once a day at most - not too much food pellets/flakes.
Fish: 9 neons, 1 platty, 4 mollies, 2 cory cats, 2 danios glofish.
I've seen some snails around in the past, tried to throw all of them away, I haven't seen any snails for about 3-4 weeks now.
PROBLEM:
On the tank glass (in the opposite side from where the filter flow is) there are lots and lots of white microorganisms. They appear as white dots/spots to the naked eye. In the water are present other white dots, smaller, they don't seem to be bubbles. As far as "the internet" explanations say, they seem not to be harmful.
Please review the images below and help me get rid of them.
The marked dots are invertebrates stuck to the glass on the inside. The other small dots are just floating in the water, I don't know what they are. The fish are: neon tetra and silver molly - just to realize the scale of the image.
This is how they look at a closer view. There must be hundreds of them on the glass. Closer images below.
Here are some macro images of the organisms - I found three shapes: round/oval, tentacles shape, long triangle shape.
Here is a succession of images with the same creature spreading its body after a really fast contraction.
