Here are some pics of my tanks and other misc things relating to my tanks :D
Just feel like sharing.. b/c I'm bored mainly lol....
My tanks aren't as lovely as some of you folks (dang you! *shakes fist* lol), but I loves them all!
Some pics I've posted around the forums before, but it won't hurt to post them again :)

Pics of tanks first! YAY!

This is a pic of our 28gallon bowfront tank when it was pretty much first set up. Cloudy water, check.. lots of fake plants.. check! heh

And here is a pic of it a little while ago! Much better imo with the real plants :)

And another pic I took a few days ago. Still needs a background which I'm working on very slowly if I can ever get out of this dang artist block.

Here is my 10gallon! Pics from when I first set it up with gravel, to now! Also working on a background for it lol...

Looks very disheaveled, but I actually like it this way heh :)

Old pic of what our hospital/quarantine tank used to look like. When this pic was taken, we had just gotten those guppies and I had to leave one of my danios in there so they could all get treated with some tetracycline. They've all passed though (a while later) which really sucks b/c I loved them so much :(

What it looks like now :) Like it MUCH better with the red gravel. I'm really not liking black gravel anymore. Although I don't like the neon stuff.. I do like color.

And here is a pic of the new hospital/quarantine tank! Bf picked out everything to go into it heh...
Sitting on bf's desk waiting to get it's sand!
5gal.jpg

Sand didn't work out too well (kept floating to the top) So we decided to chunk it and just get gravel of the same blue color the sand was lol. And I must say.. the castle is HUGE and was expensive, but he wanted it so.. there ya go rofl. I think it looks pretty neat though! And since only a couple of fish are going to be in it at any given time.. there is still plenty of room :)

Since we have a new Q/H tank.... I WILL be getting me a new betta to go into the old one.. woo! lol I just gotta figure out where I wanna put the tank though.. and also need to get it another heater. But here is a pic of the ornament I'm going to stick in there (plant is staying as well). I just think this thing is the cutest! lol

Now.. some pics of fish! YAY!
Danios first since they were the first fish we got.
We started off with 4 but unfortunatly, due to an outbreak of something nasty... we lost my favorite along with alot of the other fish in the tank.

And pics of the first danio fry I scooped out of the water once I realized it was a fish and not a bug larvae heh.

This is a pic of 3 of the danio fry that survived. They were SO cute and were only a week away from being placed into the main tank area, but they were the first to go when the tank got whatever bug it caught. That was really heartbreaking for me. :-(

And here you'll see a pic of our 3 blue guppies when they were first put into the 28gallon. You can barely make out the guppies in the lefthand corner heh. Since my danio and guppies were in the H/Q tank for 2weeks... they grew very close and she did not want to leave their side when they were put into the main tank (what's going on in the first pic). It was SO cute. My sweet finrot danio gal just loved playing with them and watching them. The guppies were the 2nd fatalities from the outbreak and my sweet finrot gal was the 3rd :( I miss them all so much.

pics of the guppies... They were the sweetest most curious little fellas.

These are some pics of my bettas! YAY!
I got them both at the same time b/c I just couldn't wait to get them any longer.
I had to place them in .5gallon jars at first, but I made sure they stayed as warm and clean as possible for the 2 days they were in them.
I ended up naming my male raj and my female Afia.
Pic of Raj in his jar...

to be continued since I've posted too many pics in this post heh...

And here are some in their 10gal divided tank! Happy and healthy :)
Raj is first up again... this first one is of him floating in a ziplock before being placed in his side heh..

Here are a couple of pics of the single green cory we have in our 28gallon. He/she will be getting some friends soon. He/she is our biggest fish so far though! Lot bigger than we thought it was heh.
314-16.jpg

314-17.jpg

Here are the guppies we got after the outbreak of whatever was being cured in the big tank. They stayed in the Q/H tank for a week and got treated as well just in case. And they're doing great in the 28gal so far. They're a bit aggressive with eachother though.
I actually couldn't get good pics of all 3 though b/c they just didn't want to stay still heh
314-15.jpg

The one in the back has a very pretty tail. It's green on the bottom, then yellow then orange.

314-1.jpg

And here are 3 guppies in the Q/H tank waiting to be moved. That will happen on Friday. I just hope the other guppies don't try to nip their tails.
I picked out the darker green one, bf picked out the other 2 :)

That's it for now! There will be more though when I get my new betta... when we get more corys... and when the 3 guppies go into the main tank! heh

Very nice pictures all the tanks looks gr8. ANd all the fish are gr8 also. Keep it up. Congratulation

Thanks all!
I wish I could say all my pics turn out clear, but heh.. these are just a choice few from a bunch that ended up too blurry or too dark or just bleh :p lol
Even though we've had this camera for a couple of years now, I still don't know how to use it properly hehe.

As for algae.. Oh I have it! No green stuff yet, but my tanks are breaking out with the ugly brown stuff.

Unfortunatly, one of the guppies in the Q/H tank died today. No idea why. Fed them when I woke as usual, they were all acting fine.
Bf came home and noticed the lighter green/blue one was dead at the bottom :( Poor lil guy.
