Have you got any pictures of their parents? both the fire reds and the nijsseni? I just want to make sure they're what I think they are. I'll probably be able to collect and take some cherry shrimp off you too

Just wanted to say that i picked up my Keyholes last night. They're totally stunning. The juveniles are immensely cute!! Tempted to come for some more! :shout:

I am amazed that you know what is what tbh, there are literally thousands of young everywhere you look and most tanks have fry in. Some rarer very nice fish too!!

Peter, have the Nanochromis transvetitus been raised in soft acidic water, or by some chance were they brought up in hard alkaline water? Lovely cichlids, but not ones I think will do well in my gH 13/14, pH 8-8.2 tap water.

do you sell shell dwellers

no sorry i only keep south and central american and west african dwarf cichlids

they were bred in soft waters obviously as the eggs dont develop unless the ph is below 5.0 but yes they have been raised in standard treated tap waters of PH 7.6, GH 175ppm, TDS 200ppm but you can always use alder cones and almond leaves in with them to help lower the ph a bit

Has the pair of keyholes you have left already bred successfully?

How much for the pair shipped to London?

Also, do you have red cherry or red crystal shrimps?

That's great I'm glad they got there ok as I know the Olympics is playing havoc on deliveries in London recently cos of some roads being single lanes etc and I'm also very pleased that you like them , tbh I was sad to see them go as they were a stunning pair, but I have that many fish breeding at the moment I'm running out of room very fast, just had to buy a 360ltr corner tank as extra room to grow all the young I've got in
