Lost My Oldest Betta Today

I went to feed my bettas this morning as normal and he was dead at the bottom of his tank He was only a little VT and nothing special but i'd had him about 18 months and he was such a sweet little guy! I found him in a shop in a tank full of cichlids So he didn't have much in the way of fins and was in a bit of a mess.. So i brought him home and he'd done so well with me and he was always really happy and active He had his live bloodworms last night and ate all of those and seemed fine, but he was just dead this morning..

He did make me a little bubblenest that he'd been working on for the last couple of days though

I think he just died of old age (he must have been well over two years old) so i guess he did ok really...
